David & Anne-Marie

David and Anne-Marie Moore are the originators of the cultural and photographic excursion concept in South Africa and have hosted Creative Escapes tours and workshops for fifteen years. Guests are warmly welcomed and given personal attention and encouragement as they pursue their creativity. While guests explore the countryside they have time to relax and enjoy varied activities and cultures.

David is a specialist veterinary surgeon, naturalist and photographer. He is a fellow of the Photographic Society of South Africa. He has a love of nature and a deep appreciation of the San people, their spirituality and art. David's insight and enjoyment of the environment is evident in his photographic art. His enthusiasm for photography and nature is conveyed in his lectures and discussions. He is an invited guest lecturer and judge at various congresses and photographic clubs.

Anne-Marie is a teacher, calligrapher and published author. Her love of the written word, creativity and spirituality inspires her students to discover their untapped creativity. She delights in the beauty of nature which is often the inspiration for her creative work. In her free time she works with children in need, using art and creativity to allow them to fulfil their potential. Together with David she creates photographic audio-visual presentations. Anne-Marie is an invited guest lecturer on various aspects of her travels and teaching. She enjoys music, travel and interacting with people of different cultures.

John Moore

Elder twin son of David and Anne-Marie, Master Printmaker, professional artist and teacher lives and works in Johannesburg.

He welcomes visitors to his studio where his inspirational creativity can be shared as he explains his work.

John's spritual approach underlines his complete interdependence with nature.
