Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is an Edwardian sandstone cottage restored by David and Anne-Marie. Situated in the eastern Free State village of Fouriesburg, it overlooks the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho. Verandas lead onto the gardens. The charming self-catering cottage has four en-suite double bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and comfortably appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped. Rose Cottage is a favourite retreat for guests and is an ideal stopover to enjoy small town life.

Summer and Snow

Fouriesburg The climate in Fouriesburg is similar to Johannesburg. Long hot summer days and cooler evenings. In the winter months there are often snow falls which of course delight photographers and guests alike. The garden is an ideal area to enjoy lazy, hazy summer days or a sunny spot on the veranda melts the winter chill. There is a swing under the grape vine which children [and adults] can enjoy. Rose Cottage is and ideal retreat for a few days or more.
