We always try to visit Fouriesburg in March where we hope to find cosmos. In the past few years the cosmos has been rather disappointing, however this year we were treated to a profusion of flowers.
Early morning shoots were spectacular and filled with mist in the valleys and allowed cosmos to ghost in the clear light.
We also visited Clarens where we were once again struck by the lack-lustre service and indifferent attitude of staff and owners of various eating establishments.
However the cosmos was beautiful and we managed to continue to be delighted by the beauty of the area.
