A Time for Change

After many happy and productive years at Rose Cottage in the Eastern Free State, we made the difficult, but correct decision that it was time to say thank and goodbye to 23 years of exciting adventures.

We experienced some special moments and met interesting people and more importantly made long-standing friends. Thank you to all who were party to the Creative Escapes weekend concept. It was just so important in our lives and we appreciate all who 'followed' us on our various expeditions.

Due to the insidious virus, like so many people, we've stayed close to home. David working on his many 1000's of photographic images and me working on a visual diary using paints, inks and calligraphy which I have diligently kept through these bizarre months.

We have been able to visit the Kruger National Park, Kgalagadi and Madikwe on a fairly regular basis and of course have enjoyed the escape to the bush which makes every challenge recede into misty memories.

We have no plans to resurrect Creative Escapes in the near future, but India does tempt as of course does the Masai Mara.

Never say Never as 'they' say.

Do take care and stay safe.

Warm wishes from us both.
